Two swimmers represented Minico at the State high school swim meet held last year in Boise.
A total of 437 swimmers representing 34 schools participated. The women’s team, represented
by lone freshman Jessie Layton, placed 20th with 6th place finishes in both the 50 yard freestyle and the
100 yard backstroke. The men’s team, consisted of sophomore Rowdy Greene, finished 15th in
the 100 yard backstroke and 12th in the 200 yard freestyle earning the
school a 24th place in the men’s division. |
