Mrs. Anderson

My name is Lisa Anderson, I am from Paul, Idaho. I have graduated from CSI and WGU. I have been teaching at Paul for two years. I am married and have five children. I have five grandchildren and one goes to this school. We are very family orientated and we do many activities together.

Riding my bike and doing things with my family. I love to read a good book and take time for myself (that doesn't happen very often). Watching my son and grandsons play sports is one of my favorite things to do with my children and husband.

I have always loved children. I went to work at MInico high school as a para in the special ed class and loved it. I realized that I wanted to become a teacher and hopefully make a difference in children's lives. Whether it be in academics, socially, or making them feel that no matter what they have some one that loves them and they are important. The best part of teaching for me is to see a child become successful. It may be in the area of making friends, getting rid of a bad habit, understanding the curriculum, or realizing they are as important as anyone else. I love when they come to the understanding that they can do anything with hard work and persistence.

My name is Tricia Buckley, I am from all over the world (Army Brat). I have attended CSI and ISU, I have been teaching for seven years. I am a mother of two adult children. Valerie is my daughter she is 26 and Jacoby is my son, he is 19. Both of my kids work full time and go to school part time. My boyfriend is Ray, but goes by "Spook" works at the Minidoka School bus garage. He makes sure to get the darlings to us safely. I have 4 dogs and a snake. If I had enough room I would rescue every dog I could.

I ride a motorcycle and love to attend rallies during the summer. I like to read, but seem to be stuck reading 5th grade books. If I could I would live on the Oregon Coast, but I don't think it will happen until retirement. I HATE cooking!

I have always wanted to be a teacher, but didn't not go to college straight out of high school. I worked at Simplot for 15 years and when the plant closed I went back to school. So I was a "non-traditional" student and I loved college! The best part of teaching is getting to know the students. I enjoy watching them grow and learn. I enjoy making connections with the students and the parents.

My name is Amanda Hernandez, I am from Burley and St. Anthony, Idaho. I graduated from BYU-Idaho and have been teaching for five years. My husband, Juan, and I have been happily married for almost eight years. We have four children. Our oldest son is six and he has three younger sisters, ages: 5, 3, and 2. We also have a baby boy on the way; he is expected to arrive on his big brother’s birthday!

We love spending as much time as possible together playing games, hiking, or exercising. By far, my favorite thing to do outside of school is spend time with my family. I also enjoy gardening, especially flower gardening. I love to ride my bike with a bike trailer attached for the little ones. I also love to bake, cook, and am always willing to try something new. I love teaching and didn’t feel like I made the decision to be a teacher as much as it was just what I was supposed to do. I feel like a natural teacher. I love kids, the creativity, the growth you see each year, and the enthusiasm of the students.
