During the month of March our character trait is pride. Showing Warrior Pride means to feel part of our school, feeling good about yourself and our school community. Having Warrior Pride is doing what is right!
Lunch for today is Pulled Pork Sandwich.
Today is Competition Tuesday where classes will compete against other classes or within their classroom. We hope everyone has a fun time competing.
We are very proud of our student council students who during the month of March have been completing service projects through out our community. Not only did they contribute 861 items of canned food to the Minidoka Senior Citizens they also washed cars, cleaned Paul Parks, walked dogs at the pound, pulled weeds, cleaned yards, cleaned community buildings, picked up road side garbage, instructed young kids in basketball and babysat. We are proud of our young students who realize giving back to their community is very important and enriching.
West Minico students start taking tests today. We appreciate all the hard work and dedication it takes from Mrs. Bruns to make our testing schedule the very best it can be. We also appreciate the classroom teachers and test proctors for overseeing the tests. Warriors take pride in doing their best!

Quote for the week, " Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."
Be the reason someone smiles today! Choose to be kind and considerate towards others!
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY THE CHOICE IS YOURS!
All activities and school announcements are on the West Minico School website at all times and are updated daily, so check it out if you ever have any questions about school activities. School closure information will also be updated as soon as it is received on our school website.
Our school assembly had some powerful messages on how to cope with difficult peer related situations, we hope that students carry these messages with them daily as they interact with others. Understand that your actions affect others. Everyone should live by the golden rule of not doing things to others that you would not want done to you.
We want all of our students to get caught reading and encourage students to have their reading book in every class so that if they finish their work they will be able to read. All students are expected to turn in their reading logs for a grade.
