Message from the Superintendent:
The Board meeting on Tuesday, June 4th, is to discuss student transportation and kindergarten. This is a meeting to discuss options and solutions to the district’s current situation. Although a motion is listed on the agenda, it doesn’t mean the Board will take action. At any given meeting, if the Board feels they have enough information, they can only vote if an action item/motion is listed on the agenda, but again, it doesn’t mean they will. If the Board doesn’t feel that questions have been answered or that they have enough information to make an informed decision, it is highly unlikely a motion will be made.
Despite what is being shared on social media, no decisions have been made regarding busing or kindergarten. School release times have not been determined. A couple of options for transportation have been discussed previously, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are viable options. Many factors come into play regarding busing and kindergarten, and they will be taken into consideration.
