CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION
Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with specific career skills and knowledge through hands-on, industry-aligned training, preparing them for high-demand jobs, further education, or both. CTE programs combine academic instruction with practical experience in fields like health sciences, technology, and skilled trades, leading to benefits such as higher graduation rates, college credit, industry certifications, and confidence in the job market.

Welding program offers students the opportunity to study and apply blueprint reading for welders, SMAW practical, welding theory, power tools & equipment, hand tools, shop safety, lab rules, and procedures, welding.
Students work collaboratively in hands-on learning environments.
Program admission criteria: Grades 9-12
Ag Animal Science The animal science program offers students the opportunity to study and apply,animal health and care, animal products and processing, the Idaho animal agricultural industry, nutrition requirements for livestock, livestock reproductive systems, animal selection, and production 50 livestock quality assurance.

Ag Plant and Soil Science The plant and soil science program offers students the opportunity to study and apply crop production, plant science in agriculture, applications of plant and soil science, greenhouse safety, and crop management. Students work collaboratively in hands-on learning environments.

Residential Construction The residential construction program offers students the opportunity to study and apply OSHA 10 Card, trade use of hand tools, trade use of power tools, math and measurement in construction trades, and blueprint reading and drawing. Students work collaboratively in hands-on learning environments.

Automotive Technology The automotive technology program offers students the opportunity to study and apply charging system diagnosis and repair, lighting systems diagnosis and repair, automotive shop safety, automotive tool identification and usage, automotive information and maintenance, general electrical system diagnosis, battery diagnosis and service standards, starting system diagnosis and repair, and automotive maintenance and light repair.

Engineering Technology program offers students the opportunity to study and apply workplace safety and tool use, engineering ethics and collaboration, the engineering design process, measuring techniques,design scaling and drawing techniques, engineering materials, power system, and engineering energy principles.

Information Technology program offers students the opportunity to study and apply computer essentials, advanced computer concepts, computer hardware and software, web page design and layout development, web page controls, planning and organizational standards, web marketing, web design theory, design, and architecture, and planning. Broadcast Technology program offers students the opportunity to study and apply the editing process, industry standard production practices, writing for digital media, digital media 51 production equipment, the digital media production industry, and digital media production.
