Library Hours:  7:20-4:20

**Hall passes are required to visit the library during class time.**

Materials

• Fiction and Nonfiction books are available for checkout.  Books are loaned for 2 ½ weeks.  The fine for overdue books is 10 cents per day.  All fines are paid at the front office.

• You may have a total of 4 books checked out at the same time.

• For e-Books, please visit the Sora app found on your Google account.  Other online resources can be found on the Minico High School webpage.

Lunchtime Expectations

• Small snacks and drinks are permitted in the library.  However, lunch food must be eaten in the cafeteria.  Trash needs to be thrown away and spills must be reported to the librarian.

• Games and activities are available for use.  Please put things back where they belong.

• Chairs may be moved, but need to be put back when not in use.  Only 1 person per seat.  Sitting on the floor is not permitted.

• Public displays of affection will not be tolerated.

• Excessive loudness, poor manners, and disrespect are not allowed.  If behavior doesn’t improve after a warning, you will be asked to leave the library.  

  
  

Loaner Laptops

• If your laptop needs to be repaired, please see the librarian to issue a work order ticket. 

• There are 10 Chromebooks available for checkout.  Please fill out the form on the iPad.  Laptops must be returned by the end of the day.

• If you forget your laptop at home, you have 3 opportunities to check out a loaner laptop.  After your 3 opportunities have been used, you will be denied a laptop.

• Chargers are NOT available for checkout.

Printing

• There is 1 desktop computer available to print assignments and only prints to the library copier.

• Prints are in black and white only.  No color copies are available.

• You may email the librarian to print assignments for you.  Copies will be delivered to your classroom by the library aide.
