Minidoka County School District is offering a FREE Early Childhood Special Education Screening for children ages 3–5 on September 25, 2026.
If you have concerns about your child’s speech or language, learning and thinking skills, behavior, motor development, social skills, or self-help skills, this screening can help determine whether additional support may be needed.

Online registration is open for the 2026-2027 school year. Snapcodes have been sent out via email so be sure to get your student registered. If you need assistance, you may come to the school on August 10th.
🍎 Great news for Minidoka families!
Minidoka County Joint School District will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). During the 2026–2027 school year, every enrolled student at participating district schools may receive one breakfast and one lunch each school day at no cost, regardless of household income.
Families will no longer need to complete annual free and reduced-price meal applications. Please review the attached information for participating schools, second-meal pricing, previous meal balances, and other important details.
Healthy meals help students arrive ready to learn, grow, and succeed!

Summer meals are back! ☀️🍎
Minidoka County School District’s SUN Meals To-Go program will provide 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches each week for children.
Curbside pickup will be available Tuesdays, June 9 through August 4, at three locations:
Mt. Harrison High School, West Minico Middle School, and Rupert Elementary.
Pickup times include morning, mid-day, and evening options.
Weekly ticket reservations open every Wednesday, and online orders close Sundays at 6:00 PM.

Our School Carnival will be held Tuesday! We are excited for a fun day of games and activities, including several water activities for students. Please make sure your child comes prepared with a change of clothes and appropriate footwear for water activities. Please note that parents/guardians will not be contacted to bring extra clothing during the school day. Students who do not bring a change of clothes will need to remain in their wet clothing after participating in water activities. Thank you for helping your child come prepared so everyone can enjoy a safe and fun carnival day!

South Central Public Health District is providing Back to School Vaccine Clinics:
August 10, 2026 at East Minico from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (1805 H. St., Rupert, ID) and August 11, 2026 at West Minico from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (155 S. 600 W., Paul, ID). The clinics will be inside the school building. Exemption info can be obtained from your student's school secretary. See Idaho 39-4801 for Idaho's immunization law.
Early in-person voting for the May 19, 2026 Election is open May 4 through May 15, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Minidoka County Clerk’s Office, 715 G Street, Rupert.
