🏴☠️Today our 6th graders completed a lab investigating the process of diffusion. Students carefully added drops of food coloring to still water and recorded their observations over time. Through this activity, they discovered that even when water looks still, its particles are always moving, which causes the food coloring to spread out.
🏴☠️This hands-on investigation helped students visualize particle motion and connect it to our unit on Energy and Matter. They also practiced making claims, supporting them with evidence, and sketching models of what they observed.

*We would love to see photos of the 8th-grade game if anyone has them. We love it when parents tag East Minico in their photos!😊

Our Director of Transportation experienced very difficult personal circumstances this summer that delayed bus route setup. She will be back on duty tomorrow, Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
We’re deeply grateful for our staff and community who stepped up to keep students safe and supported. Moving forward, we are working to prevent disruptions like this in the future. Thank you for your continued understanding, kindness, and teamwork.

Thank you to Let's Ride Power Sports for allowing us to use their side-by-side for our sports teams this year! 💜💜
We have already used it to transport equipment, move water jugs, and help injured players safely off the field. We are so grateful for our community partners and their generosity!
