What an amazing opportunity it was for our students to attend the Hale Centre Theatre for a matinee of Sister Act: The Musical today! The students loved every minute of it, and they represented our community so well! Thank you to the theater for providing the tickets, to the bus garage for providing the transportation, and to the chaperones who helped with the students! We hope to be able to do this again!

Awesome and Julian are the amazing winners of our Connect 4 tournament. 🥇🥇They both received a drink from fizz farm and play credits to Arcadia! Good job boys! More fun lunch activities to come. 🏴☠️🥤

Big win for our 8th grade volleyball team tonight! they advance in the tournament!

We had our Powderpuff football game last Thursday! It was so much fun! The two teams tied in the end. In addition to our football players, we had referees, announcers, dancers, and cheerleaders. Thanks to Mr. Larson for organizing this event each year!

This is our bye week, but that isn't stopping our boys! we worked out a matchup with Declo tonight on our turf!

We had a quadruple-heder tonight! Two #volleyball games vs Jerome and two #soccer games vs West. We love our #pirates 💜🏴☠️💜🏴☠️

Mr. Larson teaching his class how to fold the American Flag.

Mrs. Kraus' class did their "Probability with M&Ms" lesson Wednesday and Thursday. We will be using the data to make bar graphs and circle graphs. Mrs. Van Every's ELA class is collaborating on it. She is using the M&M theme this week to do their narrative stories.

6th Grade Science Lab Highlights
On Thursday, our 6th graders explored Phase Changes through a hands-on lab! Students observed how the temperature of ice changes as it is heated and investigated what happens during a phase change from solid to liquid (and eventually to gas). Key Concept: Heating a substance doesn’t always increase its temperature. During a phase change, the added energy is used to change the state of matter—like melting ice into water—instead of speeding up particle motion.
Students did a fantastic job recording observations and connecting them to the science behind energy and matter!
