Due to road conditions and blowing and drifting snow, there will be NO school in Minidoka County School District on Monday, January 15, 2024. This will be an emergency closure day, there will be NO online learning. Stay safe.

Minidoka County School District will be releasing students at 1:00 today because of weather conditions. We will follow the early release schedule and some school release times will vary slightly.

Due to road conditions and based on the the recommendation from the Minidoka County Highway Department, there will be no school on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Thank you for your patience yesterday as we experienced network issues that affected our internet and phone system. As of this morning, the phones and internet are working and the technology department is closely monitoring it. Thank you for your patience the last several days.

MINICO PARKING: As you are aware, over the break, we received close to 13 inches of snow. Our Minidoka Maintenance crew has been working hard on our parking lot, but there is A LOT of heavy wet snow and nowhere to go with it. Multiple parking spots are covered with plowed snow in both the front and back parking lots.
PLEASE do not park in another students spot if yours is covered. They have cleared the overflow out by the tennis courts and behind the baseball field. We need you park out there. PLEASE do not try to park in areas that are open and block drive ways or roads. PLEASE do not park in non designated parking places, if it does not have parking lines, do not park there- this creates other hazards.
If you can carpool with friends and family it would really help.
This is not ideal, however, it is not anyones fault and our maintenance crew is working hard to help us out.
Thank you for your patience as we work through this.
