Ms. Goodwin's class was asked to come up with ways we use math in the real world. These are great reasons to keep learning and using math!
West will get so festive! Full dress up week coming up: Christmas hats, lights and bling on Monday, Pajama Day Tuesday, and Ugly Sweater Day on Wednesday!

The semester ends with a Christmas fun day: December 20th students will be with they homeroom Achieve teacher, and will have a choice to attend a Movie watch party or a Dance Hangout, Photo booth and games.
Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater for a chance to win the contest!
Students will be released at 1 PM.

We are launching a thread called Power of the Positive. Look for the great things happening in our school we will post with this title.
This week: The 8th grade girls basketball team played Woodriver in district finals and when it was over, although the warriors came out on top, all the girls showed awesome sportsmanship as they slapped hands.
Also a student took it upon himself after the game to grab the broom and sweep the gym floor.

How lucky are we with the amazing Orchestra teachers and the talented students in our schools! The Christmas concert last night lifted hearts and brought smiles all around! Congratulations to all on a great performance!

West Minico halls are getting filled with holiday cheer as students compete in a fun and colorful contest of decorating doors, during Achieve. We are excited and intrigued!

Free throw stars, come compete! Rupert Elks invites all interested boys and girls within the age limit requirements to come compete on December 15th at East Minico Middle School. Good luck and have fun!
