Our Halloween Parade will be short and sweet — the perfect way to wrap up a fun day! The parade will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.
👣 Route & Viewing:
Students will start the parade inside the building so their classmates can watch, then head out the north gate and walk down to the drop-off area.
Families and friends are welcome to line up along the sidewalk in front of the school to cheer on our little eagles! 🦅
A Few Notes:
We plan to be outside unless the weather changes.
Due to the large turnout, we ask that all visitors remain outside to help us maintain student safety.
The parade will also be streamed live on Instagram for anyone who’d like to watch online!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We can’t wait to see all the creative costumes and smiling faces!

Students may wear costumes to school on Thursday, October 30, as long as they can comfortably sit and participate in class. Please remember:
🚫 No weapons
🚫 No full-face coverings or masks
🚫 No full face paint
🚫 No depictions of blood or violence
If a costume is not school-appropriate, students will be asked to change.
🕸️ Schedule Reminder:
This year, parties will be in the morning and the parade will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Parties will take place in Houses, not classrooms — a fun change we can’t wait to celebrate together! (Kindergarten Update: AM Kinder students will join in the Halloween parties, while PM Kinder students will participate in the parade!

The fire trailer visited Acequia today to help our 1st - 2nd grade students learn all about fire safety and prevention!
Take a moment tonight to have a conversation with your child:
✅ Do they know their home address?
✅ Do they know your phone number?
✅ Do they know how to call 911?
✅ Does your family have a meeting spot in case of a fire?
We are so grateful for our local fire department and the important programs they provide to help keep our students and families safe. ❤️

You turn lessons into life skills, challenges into opportunities, and classrooms into safe, joyful spaces where every child feels seen and valued. The work you do doesn’t just teach — it transforms.
We are so lucky that you call Acequia your home. Thank you for showing up each day with heart, dedication, and belief in our Eagles. You make Acequia the incredible place it is.

The sun came out, the smiles were big, and the laps added up quickly! It was truly a beautiful day of fun, fitness, and community. We are grateful for everyone who helped make it such a success.

Did you miss out on session 1? That’s ok! Join us for sessions 2 and 3! Next Thursday evening at 6:30! Child care and a light snack provided!
