When we say last day vibes, THIS is what we mean!
These pick-up line pros didn’t get the memo… they made the memo—balloons, bubbles, and dancing to “Best Day of My Life” like it was their full-time job. 🫧💃🎈
Ending the year with sparkle, sass, and a whole lot of fun!

Today we celebrated a big milestone—our 5th graders have officially closed their chapter at Acequia Elementary.
As they move on to new adventures, we hope they carry this message with them: The world needs who you were made to be. There’s no one else like you—and that’s your greatest gift. ❤️
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle. We’re so proud of you!

Everything was BLUE to honor you—glow bracelets, necklaces, and a gym full of energy! We kicked things off with a student tunnel and ended with a dance party to remember. 🌀🎶
Reveur may have taken the crown, but every House earned this celebration. It was a year of heart, hustle, and house pride from everyone.
4 Houses. 1 School. One unforgettable year. 💙

After 28 incredible years at Acequia Elementary, we are celebrating the retirement of Ms. Julee Posyluzy. Over the years, Julee has worn many hats, but her most recent role as our instructional coach has left a lasting impact on both staff and students.
Julee has a gift for creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone she encounters. She’s the first to offer help, the calm in the chaos, and a source of unwavering positivity that has shaped the heart of our school.
As we head into the 2025–2026 school year, we know we have big shoes to fill, and even bigger hearts to carry forward the legacy she leaves behind.
Thank you, Julee, for your kindness, leadership, and endless dedication. You will be so dearly missed. 🍎

The last few days have been packed with ALL the fun—glow parties, kindergarten red cape runs, readers theaters, rodeos, extra recess (yes, please!), and more! Not everything was caught on camera, but every moment was full of laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories.
These final days were more than just events—they were celebrations of growth, friendship, and the magic of learning. 💫 Here's to the memories we’ve made and the ones we’ll carry with us forever.

The 5th Grade Wax Museum was a hit! 🎩🎤📚
Acequia Elementary was filled with famous faces this week as our 5th graders brought history to life at their Wax Museum! From inventors to athletes, artists to world leaders, it was incredible to hear about the lives and accomplishments of so many influential people — all portrayed by our amazing students.
Every single 5th grader did a fabulous job, and we are so proud of their hard work and confidence. 👏 Here are just a few highlights to share!

All year long, our Houses worked hard to earn points for school spirit, academic excellence, outstanding performance, and good character—and now it’s time to celebrate! 🎉💫 Congratulations to the House of Reveur, our 2024–2025 House Champions! 💙 Known for their big dreams and even bigger hearts, Reveur led the way with grit, grace, and teamwork.
This Tuesday, we’re throwing a House Party for everyone—because it takes all four houses to make Acequia what it is. 🖤❤️💚💙 To help us honor Reveur, wear BLUE to school and get ready to celebrate a year well done!

House Field Day was a HIT! 🏅 Mrs. Turner knocked it out of the park with games built for teamwork and house pride— towel volleyball, human foosball, an epic tarp maze, and the fan favorite… HUNGRY HIPPOS! 🦛💨 Our students played hard, cheered loud, and came back after lunch for ROUND 2.
