The Declo Trendsetters came today and, as always, put on a fabulous performance! This one felt extra special as a former Acequia student, Tucker Christensen, took the lead in his final show at Acequia. There were a lot of songs played, but The Greatest Showman was definitely a favorite and today truly felt like the greatest show at the greatest place! We are so proud of Tucker and all the Trendsetters for making it a performance to remember!

Whether your child is enrolled in AM or PM kindergarten, this program provides a safe, structured space for them to stay all day, with access to meals, transportation, and extra

Hattie Tracy won “Principal of the Day” during our Read-A-Thon and Tuesday was her big day! Between helping with office tasks, giving out house points, and setting up for our egg hunt, she was the ultimate sidekick. Thanks Hattie, for helping keep Acequia running smoothly, we loved having you in charge! 📓❤️

Our very own Office Barbie – and she’s so much more than bandaids and ice packs! From last-minute copies to comforting calls with parents, she runs the office (and basically the whole school) with grace, calm, and a heart full of kindness. 💗
Today, we turned the office into a Barbie Dreamhouse, and let’s be real, she’s the one running it! ✨ The halls were glowing with pink as students and staff joined the fun, and yes—even Ken made an appearance to show his support!
As Barbie once said, “You can be anything” and you, friend, are everything this school needs.
We couldn’t do it without you and we hope you know just how much we love and appreciate you! Happy Secretary's Day! 💕
Yesterday was egg-stra special at Acequia! Our students had a blast during our House Egg Hunt, racing across the playground to snatch up eggs filled with points ranging from 1 to 50!
The excitement peaked with our 9 golden eggs, each worth a whopping 50 points! Talk about a game-changer!
With House points on the line, students sprinted, searched, and celebrated as they inched their teams closer to the title of House Champion.
We’re loving the teamwork, the laughter, and the friendly competition as we race toward the finish line. Keep up the momentum, House crews—every point counts!
🌍 Happy Earth Day from Acequia! 🌱
Today’s lunch came with a sweet surprise—our kitchen staff whipped up Dirt Cups to help us celebrate the wonders of our planet! With Oreo “soil,” marshmallow “rocks,” and gummy “worms” wriggling through the chocolatey layers, students got to dig in to a delicious reminder of Earth’s beauty. 🍫🪱🪨
