The fire trailer visited Acequia today to help our 1st - 2nd grade students learn all about fire safety and prevention!
Take a moment tonight to have a conversation with your child:
✅ Do they know their home address?
✅ Do they know your phone number?
✅ Do they know how to call 911?
✅ Does your family have a meeting spot in case of a fire?
We are so grateful for our local fire department and the important programs they provide to help keep our students and families safe. ❤️

You turn lessons into life skills, challenges into opportunities, and classrooms into safe, joyful spaces where every child feels seen and valued. The work you do doesn’t just teach — it transforms.
We are so lucky that you call Acequia your home. Thank you for showing up each day with heart, dedication, and belief in our Eagles. You make Acequia the incredible place it is.

The sun came out, the smiles were big, and the laps added up quickly! It was truly a beautiful day of fun, fitness, and community. We are grateful for everyone who helped make it such a success.

Did you miss out on session 1? That’s ok! Join us for sessions 2 and 3! Next Thursday evening at 6:30! Child care and a light snack provided!

Please contact the Heyburn SCPHD office for questions re: cost for the flu vaccine at 208-678-8221.

Quick reminder: tomorrow is Jog-A-Thon! It will be chilly, so please send layers (and a warm hat for morning runners). Thursday is School Picture Day and the FluMist clinic. October is full of fun. Please check back for updated Parent-Teacher Conference and Red Ribbon Week information. We will send reminders so you do not miss anything.

Jog-A-Thon is just one week away! We still need volunteers - please sign up if you can help. You can access the sign-up link in the September Eagle News Keep working on those pledges - every dollar supports our students and teachers. Let’s go Eagles! 🦅

Students, it’s time to get excited, lace up those running shoes, and start gathering your pledges! Every lap counts toward fun, fitness, and supporting our school.
We can’t wait to cheer you on and see all of our Acequia Eagles giving their best effort! 🦅💙💚❤️🖤
