As we celebrate the season of thanks, we just wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you! Thank you for being such an essential part of our journey. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and teamwork make Acequia Elementary a place where dreams and smiles flourish!

Our 2nd graders recently completed a delightful project centered around the Macy's Day Parade, reading about its history and crafting their own imaginative balloons. Excitement filled the halls as the young students proudly paraded their creations, bringing the magic of the iconic parade to life right within the school.

In case you didn't catch it in our Eagle News this month, parents are invited to come to the parade that will start promptly at 2:00 p.m. Please park in front of the school and on the gravel if you choose to come. We ask that you come inside and line up in the back by our playground. Please also note that there are no weapons, full-face coverings, or anything else that depicts blood or violence permitted throughout today. Masks may be worn during the parade as long as they follow the rules. Thank you for your cooperation. Have a wonderful Halloween! Be safe.

RED-y to say NO to drugs & RED-y for the weekend!

We're too BRIGHT for drugs at AES!

Kicked off Red Ribbon Week with some early morning special visitors. Drugs are CRAZY & that is just what we saw today. Lots of wild hair & socks!

We're excited to let you know that Red Ribbon Week is just around the corner, and we're gearing up for a week full of positive activities and important messages organized by our PTO.
Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide campaign that focuses on drug prevention and the importance of leading healthy, drug-free lives. This year, we have some fantastic activities planned for our students, including dress-up days, a special message from Mrs. Rigby & a collaborative art project by Mrs. Turner.

Don't forget - tomorrow is PICTURE DAY! We can't wait to see your bright smiling faces.

A day our little eagles will always remember! Thanks to our Minico football players & cheerleaders for making lunch a memorable moment. Our hearts are full!
