Due to road conditions and based on the the recommendation from the Minidoka County Highway Department, there will be no school on Thursday, January 11, 2024.


Minidoka County School District will be releasing students at 1:00 today because of weather conditions. We will follow the early release schedule and some school release times will vary slightly.

Parents and caregivers of children between the ages 0-5 learn how to turn everyday moments into learning moments. Receive FREE educational tools at every workshop to make learning at home fun, easy and effective. This workshop is 90 minutes long, however, if a meal is included, please plan on attending for 2 hours.

We've been up since the "quack" of dawn, waiting for you to get to school! -the elves

As a reminder, tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 20th) is an early release day. This means all students (secondary & elementary) will ride the buses together in the afternoon. Students being picked up will be released at 1:00 p.m. It will take the buses a little longer to arrive at Acequia. Once buses have arrived, we will send students out. Class parties will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. Please don't park in the teacher parking lot as this is where we will load the buses. Thank you!


PART 2: We have 12 sets of twins here at Acequia, at least one set in every grade level! Did you know a twin birth occurs 3 times to every 1000 births? Be sure to wish these special students HAPPY TWINS DAY!
