⏰ Early Dismissal: Thursday is a 2-hour early release—West Minico students dismiss at 1:45 PM.

⚠️ Important: Please do not leave students at school after dismissal on Thursday. Conferences do not begin until 4:00 PM, and teachers/staff will be unavailable until then.

What a perfect way to wrap up Ski Club! ⛷️❄️

Our final day on the mountain at Pomerelle was absolutely beautiful — blue skies, great snow, and even better company. Watching our students grow in confidence, skill, and courage over the season has been incredible. From first runs to flying down the hill, they truly embraced the challenge.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Ski Club such a memorable experience this year. Warrior pride looks good on the mountain! 💙💛

Not the ending we hoped for in the championship, but this team gave us something even better to be proud of. Our 8th grade boys played with heart, integrity, and relentless hustle from the first game to the last. They supported each other, competed the right way, and represented our school with class every time they stepped on the court. They showed what it means to be Warriors — not just in wins, but in effort, character, and how you carry yourself when things are hard. We are proud of you, boys. 🏀💙💛

They played hard from start to finish, showing grit, effort, and strong teamwork on the court — and they’re advancing in the tournament! We’re proud of the way they competed and supported each other every minute of the game. Keep it rolling, Warriors — we’ll be cheering you on in the next round!

Big win for our Warriors! 🏀💙💛 Our 7th grade boys basketball team battled hard tonight and came away with a victory over Wood River! Their teamwork, hustle, and determination paid off, and they’re moving on in the tournament! We’re proud of the way these athletes represented our school — playing tough, supporting each other, and never giving up. Good luck in the next round, boys… Warrior Nation is cheering you on!

Our students have been working hard for weeks, learning new music, improving their skills, and preparing to share their talents with our community. There is nothing better than seeing their confidence grow as they perform together on stage.

We hope you can come out to support these musicians and enjoy an evening of great music. It means so much to our students to see a full audience cheering them on!

A beautiful day on the mountain for Ski Club! ☀️⛷️

Our students enjoyed great weather, fresh air, and time together on the slopes. It was a perfect afternoon to get outside, be active, and make memories with friends.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to provide experiences like this for our students and appreciate the staff and volunteers who help make Ski Club possible.

👏 🎉 We are proud of all our Warriors, and the way they show resilience and growth every day. Today the students with minimal missing assignments enjoyed a variety of activities, from shuffle board, chess Tournament, Sphero, Mario Kart, to card or strategy games, and Cornhole. 🌹💌 Valentine's Day Reminders for West Minico 💌🌹

Valentine’s Day is almost here! 🎉 To keep things fun, safe, and focused, here are a few things to know about deliveries and exchanges on February 12:

🚫 No Balloons: Balloons aren’t allowed at school. Deliveries with balloons will be turned away.

📦 Deliveries: Items delivered to school will be handed out at the end of the day to avoid classroom disruptions.

🚌 Glass Containers: No glass containers (like vases) are allowed on school buses.

🎁 Student Exchanges: If exchanged items cause a disruption, they’ll be held in the office until the end of the day.
