📝 Schedule Change Requests: If you would like to request a schedule change, the Schedule Change Request Form can be found on the West Minico website. Please remember that submitting a request does not guarantee that a change can be made.
📄 6th Grade: Students will receive a printed copy of their schedule at 6th Grade Orientation on August 20. We'll spend time practicing schedules and helping students learn where their classes are.
📄 7th & 8th Grade: Printed schedules will be available on the first day of school, August 24.

Turning Up the Volume
If you've ever attended an assembly at West Minico, you know one thing we've been hoping to improve...
The sound. 😊
We're excited to share that our gym now has a brand-new sound system! This long-awaited upgrade means students, staff, families, and visitors will finally be able to clearly hear announcements, performances, presentations, and celebrations during assemblies and events.
Even better, the new system is integrated with our large screen scoreboard, giving us features like game buzzers and a smoother experience for athletic events, concerts, and school activities.
A project like this doesn't happen without great partners. We are incredibly grateful to our West Minico PTO, whose continued support helped make this upgrade possible. They are one of our school's greatest champions, and we're thankful for the many ways they invest in our students and staff.
This may seem like a simple improvement, but it's one that will enhance countless moments in our gym—from pep assemblies and performances to basketball games and student celebrations. We can't wait to experience those moments together this year.
