Building a Safer West
Creating a place where students feel they belong also means creating a place where they feel safe.
This summer, a new fence was installed along the south side of our campus through a partnership between Minidoka School District and our neighbors at Spudnik. Because the fence sits along our shared property line, this project was truly a collaborative effort to improve the safety and security of our campus.
The new fence provides a clearer, more secure boundary while helping create a safer environment for our students, staff, and visitors each day.
We are grateful to Spudnik for partnering with us on this project and for their investment in our school community. Strong schools are built through strong partnerships, and we're fortunate to have community members who share our commitment to supporting West Minico students.
Every improvement—big or small—is another step toward creating a school where students can learn, grow, and thrive.
💙 One school.
💛 One community.

Behind the Shine
When students return on the first day of school, they'll walk into clean classrooms, shiny floors, freshly mowed lawns, and a building that is ready to welcome them.
What many don't see is the incredible amount of work that happens throughout the summer to make that possible.
Our custodial and maintenance crews spend weeks deep cleaning classrooms, stripping and waxing floors, moving furniture, completing repairs, maintaining our grounds, and tackling countless projects throughout the building. Their hard work creates a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where students and staff can focus on learning from day one.
To our custodial and maintenance teams—thank you for the pride you take in caring for our school. Your work often happens behind the scenes, but it makes a difference every single day.
As our countdown continues, we're grateful for the many people working together to prepare West Minico for another great school year.
