Today we officially welcomed our newest Acequia Eagles, including our kindergarteners, into their Houses! A little drum roll, lots of anticipation, and even more excitement made for the perfect way to wrap up our first week of school.

Learning, laughing, playing, and finding our place together again. Day one is in the books, and we’d say we’re off to a pretty great start!

The buses rolled in, the doors opened, and the halls started filling with our favorite little Eagles.
Seeing them walk through those doors this morning was the best reminder that they belong right here.

Did you know? Minidoka County Joint School District will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). During the 2026–2027 school year, every enrolled student at Acequia Elementary may receive one breakfast and one lunch each school day at no cost, regardless of household income.
Families will no longer need to complete annual free and reduced-price meal applications. Please review the attached information for participating schools, second-meal pricing, previous meal balances, and other important details.

As we head into summer, we wanted to share our Acequia Elementary Summer Edition Newsletter. This will serve as a working document throughout the summer and will be updated as information becomes available. Inside, you'll find important resources such as school supply lists, the school calendar, upcoming dates, registration information, and other events and announcements. We will do our best to keep this document current so families have one convenient place to find the latest information. 🎓 As our 5th graders leave Acequia Elementary, we hope they remember that while their paths may take them in different directions, the memories and friendships they built here will always stay with them.
